U.S. History I, U.S. History II


I attended college on both academic and choir scholarships. I graduated from Alabama A & M University with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Sciences and Highly Qualified Certification. I graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology.


I have been teaching here at Midfield High School for ten years. I have taught the subjects of World History, Ethics, U.S. History I, U.S. History II and Advanced Placement U.S. History.

I was the cheerleading coach for four years, the Student Government Association Advisor for three years and am I currently and have served as the Social Studies Department Chairperson for 9 years. I also work with the Community Engagment Program P3.

Part time, I work at Lawson State Community College. I teach Adult Education, which includes working with the G.E.D. Program, Work Keys and ESL.


I am from Lithonia Georgia but I have lived in Alabama for more than 16 years.  My hobbies include cooking, cleaning, organizing, sowing, cosmetology and shopping!
